| 2009 Annual Report |
|
If you missed the annual meeting of the congregation, pick up a copy of
the report today. Pastor Sue would especially commend to you the personal reflections from
Judy Brooks, Barbara Fogle, Marisa Huffaker, Ann McClure, and Sherri Navarro.
|
| How Goes Your Pondering of Your "Star Gift" Word? |
|
Pastor Sue has commended each of us
to use the "Star Gift Word" we've received as a spiritual exercise tool all year long. She is also gathering a list of
everyone's words as a way to hold each of you in prayer and encourage your pondering. Some folks
have begun a conversation with Sue about their star gift pondering via email, on the phone, and by
scheduling a visit in her church study or elsewhere.
|
| Thank You... |
|
Thank you to those thus far who have helped offset Knox's $2100 "mission dues" to the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.A.). We have received $604 to date in "per capita"dollars to offset the $2100
needed to meet this commitment. Please prayerfully consider an extra gift of $28.50 per person in your
household in support of our 2010 Per Capita.
|
| Free Money for Knox |
|
You can help support Knox through your grocery purchases at no cost to you. If you shop at Food Max,
Lucky, Safeway, or Raleys the stores pay a percentage of your grocery purchases to Knox. You can
also help direct money to Knox through a "Community Smart" card if you shop at Oliver's Market. Please
see Jo Ann Schloegel Brown for information about acquiring these cards.
|
| Knox Prayer Chain |
|
If you wish to circulate a prayer concern through the congregation,
please call Pastor Sue who will activate the Knox Prayer Chain.
Thank you to the Deacons who make individual calls to members of their parishes.
