Did You Know?
  • Yesterday we provided spaces for 12 of our neighbors from the Walnut Grove Apts for a Church Parking Lot Sale. Also Judy Brooks, Carl Conley, Bev Hawkyard, JoAnn Schloegel, and Sue, our pastor, had tables with items to sell all in support of the Knox Food Pantry. Many Thanks!
  • The Hill family has stepped forward to coordinate our hygiene kits collection, assembly, and mailing. The hope is to get other children and youth involved in this project.
  • It's not too late to participate in the Knox Book Group. Read Eat, Pray, Love and join us on Monday evening, Sept. 6th. For more information, talk with Sue.

Thanks to Sherry Navarro the church newsletter is returning. You'll receive an email with a link and hard copies will be available for those who do not have email. If you wish to circulate a prayer concern through the congregation, please call Pastor Sue who will activate the Knox Prayer Chain. Thank you to the Deacons who make individual calls to members of their parishes.
Save The Date
  • This last Christmas we distributed over 300 Christmas Gift Bags to the children of families who are served at our Thursday Food Pantry. Barbara Fogle has already sewed another 300 colorful bags for this year's gift-giving scheduled for December 2010. Please start collecting items like small toys, small stuffed animals, pencils, coloring books, and crayons to fill these bags. A collection box will soon be placed in the narthex.
  • Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4. Contributions of craft items, holiday decorations, and baked items are needed.
