In the beginning (now members for 6 years), when our kids were fairly young, we found an increasing desire to expose them to something outside our family, something good, something bigger than ourselves. Knox welcomed us and met us where we were as a couple with young children and all that goes with that. Knox laid their spiritual journeys next to ours in equality, and we have enjoyed every minute of our journey on this road to community building, extended family, and ever growing faith.

We come to Knox as a family to worship, enjoy community, and participate in service. For our children, this church introduces them to a family beyond our own that is based in the teachings of Jesus and demonstrates an open acceptance of all. For us, the people of this church are its greatest strength. There are opportunities for all of our family members to participate and to grow in our journey of faith.

We discovered Knox Church in January of 1994, became members that September, and our lives have not been the same since. Knox is a unique congregation that shows a heart and spirit much greater than its size. From the beginning we have been touched by the genuine friendliness and openness of the people.

The continued love and acceptance by our church family feeds and challenges us spiritually.

Micah 6: 8 gives us charge; "He has showed you, O Man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

Knox, our church home, is where we walk.
